Kilimanjaro Marangu route it is known as the “Coca-Cola” route or “tourist route” This is because Marangu is the most common route on the mountain and thus is considered popular touristy and because is the only route that provides sleeping huts. Approaching Kilimanjaro from the southeast Marangu is a very popular route among present-day tourists. It is the oldest established route. The route is mostly favored for its scenic view and easy accessibility. The minimum number of days required for this route is five, although the probability of successfully reaching the top in that time is a bit low. It is always recommended to take an extra day to reach the summit as this is an excellent way to hike the success rate. The dormitory-style accommodations (the huts) take it to the top of the preference list for anyone while selecting the routes.

My guide Alex was knowledgeable, punctual and thoughtful and really offered me enlightening info along my entire trip - never missed any random question I raised! Lodges picked were accommodating and beautiful, and the agency definitely helped to ensure my dietary restrictions were well noted by the kitchen. Highly recommend.Posted on ReneVerified We really enjoyed the way Morinyi Adventures organised both trips, Mount Meru and Serengeti, it was a pure pleasure ! Organized by Morinyi Adventures, we climbed Mount Meru on 23 of November 2022. Coditions were rather difficult, rain after the Saddle Hut and iced rocks before reaching the summit. With calme and professionalisme, the guides of Morinyi Adventures brought us safely to the top.Posted on Virginie TanVerified Amazing experience in Tanzania I have been to Tanzania several times and Morinyi adventures has organized each of my visits, whether it be walks or safaris (the last one in the Serengeti was exceptional) or climbs (Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru).
